Discretion is at the heart of what we do. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is TORIAVIATION - GLOBAL PRIVATE JET SERVICES SRL, Strada Buzesti 75 – 77, Sector 1, Bucharest 011 013, Romania (“ToriAviation”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy matter, write to charter@toriaviation.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us through our forms, by email or by telephone: your name, email address, telephone number, company, and the content of your message.
- Journey details needed to prepare a proposal: routes, dates, number of passengers and preferences.
- Booking information, only once you confirm a flight: passenger names and the travel documents legally required by the operator and by border and aviation authorities. We never ask for passport details through our website.
- Technical data that any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider for security and delivery of the site.
Why we use it and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare proposals: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To arrange and perform your flight with the operator: performance of our contract with you.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting, aviation-security and sanctions-screening obligations: legal obligation.
- To keep our website secure: our legitimate interest.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising profiles, and we send marketing communications only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Only what is necessary, and only with:
- the certificated aircraft operator performing your flight, and service providers involved in your journey (handling agents, caterers, ground transport), to deliver the services you request;
- authorities where the law requires it (for example, border control and aviation security);
- our technical providers, acting on our instructions: website hosting and content delivery, the form-delivery service that forwards website enquiries to our email, our email provider, and our invoicing and banking providers.
Because our clients and operators are located around the world, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens we rely on an adequacy decision, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, the necessity of the transfer to perform the services you have requested.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure visits, we do so with privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that do not identify you. Should this ever change, we will ask for your consent first.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 24 months. Booking and invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 10 years). Passenger document data is kept only as long as needed for the flight and any legal retention obligation.
How we protect it
Our website is served exclusively over encrypted connections. Access to client information is restricted to those who need it, and we share only the minimum required with each operator or provider. We ask that sensitive documents are never sent through our website forms.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy of your data in a portable format, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Write to charter@toriaviation.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), or the authority where you live.
Payment security
Our bank details never change by email. If you ever receive a message asking you to pay into a different account, please call us on +351 918 618 628 before making any payment.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
